How To Improve Memory With Coffee!

Is this for real, how to improve memory with coffee? You bet!! BUT only if you’re a woman!!

Recent studies have shown that memory capacity could remain stable or even improve for women aged 65 and above if they drank more than three cups of coffee daily.

The theory is that because coffee’s a stimulant it helps the brain to retain information. However, please be wary of the associated risks as pointed out by Dr. Ayoob:

"Medications that are controlling heart health, blood pressure… Don't always mesh well with caffeine so people should be very cautions about adding caffeine to their diets."

For a more natural way on how to improve memory, take a look at another doctors’ methods.

How To Improve Memory Before You Lose It!

It’s been confirmed, memory loss is part of aging, so I’ve been looking at ways on how to improve memory before it naturally fades away.

I read an article by the American Counseling Association that claims mild memory loss is completely normal and is a reality as you get older, and no, they’re not just talking about dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Don’t panic though as “…memory decline is usually very gradual, generally not even noticeable before the age of 70. And it doesn't occur in the same way for everyone, since loss of memory can be affected by our physical health, lifestyle habits and even level of education.”

Dr. Mike Teitelbaum states “Young or old it's never too late to improve your memory”. Thankfully there are things we can do to keep our minds in tiptop condition and avoid memory loss. One of the main things is to keep the brain active and think of it like a muscle much like any other muscle in the body which we should regularly exercise. This is sound advice and certainly one method on how to improve memory.

How To Improve Memory With Video Games!

Yes, its official, in my ever lasting search on how to improve memory, I’ve found a video game that can do just that!!

I missed it the first time out but caught it second time around, it’s known as “Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree" and is out on Nintendo Wii console now. The original game is also available on the Nintendo DS handheld machine, along with the “Brain Training” series.

The games take you through a series of increasing challenges and are presented nicely with cartoon style graphics, suitable for all the family. Each one will test your brain and award you with a “brain score”, the bigger and heavier your brain… the more intelligent you are, obviously!!
